W Macau – Studio City has appointed Sammy King (pictured above) as its new General Manager.
In his new role, King will lead the hotel in delivering exceptional guest experiences, while driving operational excellence, enhancing business performance, and supporting the continued evolution of the property’s unique experiences.
Born and raised in Hong Kong, King brings 38 years of hospitality experience across Hong Kong and the Chinese Mainland. His career spans both hotel operations and commercial leadership, having spent a decade in operational roles before moving into sales leadership positions across multiple hotel brands.
His experience includes working with Marriott luxury hospitality brands such as St. Regis and Mandarin Oriental. He rejoined Marriott International in 2021 as Director of Sales & Marketing at W Hong Kong and was subsequently promoted to Hotel Manager during his tenure there.
