HR Excellence Awards 2025 Singapore: Finalists unveiled

Marking its 13th milestone year, the awards programme continues to honour the HR leaders and teams reshaping the world of work. From people-first policies to bold innovations and culture-defining strategies, this year’s finalists have set new benchmarks for how HR can inspire, engage, and transform organisations across the nation.

Reflecting on the judging process, Aaron Lim, Global Director of People and Culture, International SOS, remarked that this year’s entries highlighted the evolving role of HR as both a business driver and a champion of people. “The calibre was truly exceptional, with organisations showcasing innovation, creativity, and a deep commitment to employee wellbeing,” he said. “It was also inspiring to see emerging local businesses standing shoulder to shoulder with established players, bringing bold new perspectives and redefining what great people practices can look like.”

Jia Mun Loon, VP, Talent Management and Engagement, CIMB Singapore, said she was encouraged to see organisations providing holistic support for employees at every stage of life, while also fostering stronger intergenerational collaboration. “The use of AI to enhance processes shows real progress in preparing the workforce for the future,” she noted. “What stood out most is how today’s leading employers are going beyond profit, engaging both hearts and minds to build workplaces that are truly healthy and productive.”

For Azrina Mansor, Head/Deputy Director APAC Talent Acquisition, GlobalFoundries Singapore, it was an honour to judge the awards and observe the breadth of impressive HR initiatives submitted. “Many entries were remarkable for their clear focus on employee wellbeing, the active involvement of leadership, and the creative application of technology in learning,” she commented. “The talent strategies on display made a tangible contribution to each organisation’s success.”
