Judged by a panel of senior HR leaders, this year’s finalists have demonstrated strong strategy, innovation and impact across their people initiatives, setting new benchmarks for HR excellence in Thailand.
Here’s what some of the jury members had to say of the judging experience:
Tareep Leekulpitak, Director – People & Culture, BTS Group Holding:
“The entries were filled with hard work, initiative and care, with organisations demonstrating a clear commitment to advancing HR practices and creating meaningful business and people impact. Across categories, the entries reflected a strong focus on innovation, employee experience, sustainability, and the effective use of technology. What was particularly impressive was the increasing shift from HR initiatives toward measurable outcomes and strategic business impact. Overall, the quality of submissions reflects the growing maturity and strategic importance of HR in shaping the future of organisations in Thailand.”
Jason Wang, HR Director, ASEAN & Operations Asia Pacific, Ingredion Thailand:
“The HR Excellence Awards 2026 brought together an impressive breadth of ideas and approaches, reflecting how organisations are rethinking the way they lead, engage, and develop their people. What stood out was not only the ambition of the initiatives, but also the strong connection between people strategy and business impact. The quality of this year’s entries reflects the growing maturity and strategic influence of HR across organisations.”
Wilai Palangrattanakul, Human Resources Director, Fabrinet Company:
“Serving as a judge for the HR Excellence Awards 2026 - Thailand has been both an honour and an inspiring experience. As AI plays an increasingly significant role in the workplace and automates many tasks once performed by humans, I remain a firm believer in people and the enduring value of human capital. Technology can enhance efficiency and unlock new possibilities, but it is human judgement, creativity, empathy, and purpose that transform innovation into meaningful progress. This year’s submissions demonstrated how organisations are translating people strategies into measurable outcomes while building more inclusive, agile, and future-ready workplaces.”
“Congratulations to all participants for raising the standard of HR practices in Thailand and reminding us that, even in the age of AI, sustainable business success begins with people.”
