Mindray Singapore sets eyes on regional healthcare ecosystem, with plans to explore medical AI, surgical robotics & more collaborations

The newly launched company will serve as a strategic hub to deepen R&D, cultivate talent, and enhance supply chain resilience in medical technology and contribute to the advancement of global health.

Mindray, a medical equipment and solutions supplier, officially launched in Singapore on 20 April (2026).

Positioned as a regional base, Mindray Singapore will work with government, academic, and industry partners on deepening R&D, cultivating talent, and enhancing supply chain capabilities.

In a strategic partnership signing ceremony hosted on the same day, Mindray Singapore also signed a series of strategic agreements with the Economic Development Board (EDB), the National University of Singapore (NUS), and the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*STAR).

The partnerships will support collaboration in areas including medical AI, advanced medical imaging, in-vitro diagnostics (IVD), surgical robotics, and cardiovascular disease treatment and diagnostics.

Mindray said the launch in Singapore represents a critical step in its global strategic layout, alongside its intention to work with global partners on new medical technologies and healthcare solutions, guided by an open, collaborative approach to advancing global health.
