The fintech firm plans to grow its Singapore workforce to more than 300 employees over the next three years, with its new office scheduled to open in early 2027.
According to a press release issued by Revolut and published on the Economic Development Board (EDB)’s website, the company plans to invest nearly S$350mn in Singapore over the next five years, alongside plans to open a new office at Collyer Quay Centre in early 2027.
New office in Singapore’s financial district
Revolut has signed a five-year lease for approximately 8,880 sq ft of office space on the ninth floor of Collyer Quay Centre. Located in Singapore’s financial district, the company said the new office will provide a base for it to strengthen relationships with customers, businesses and partners as it expands its local operations.
Revolut plans to grow its Singapore workforce to more than 300 employees over the next three years. Its local headcount increased by more than 95% year-on-year in 2025, nearly doubling its workforce. The company is hiring across engineering, product, data and artificial intelligence (AI).
The office will be designed as a flexible space for collaboration, team gatherings, customer and partner engagement, and events, while allowing flexibility in how and where employees work.
Nearly S$350m to support business growth
The planned investment follows Revolut’s second consecutive year of net profitability in Singapore in 2025, alongside growth across its business.
The commitment will support further investment in the company’s products, technology, and people. Singapore will also continue to serve as a base for its expansion across Southeast Asia, including the development of products, partnerships and local expertise.
Raymond Ng, CEO, Singapore and Southeast Asia, Revolut, said the investment reflected the company’s confidence in Singapore and its regional growth plans. “Singapore is a key market and an important base for our Southeast Asia ambitions. We’ll continue investing in our people, products and technology to drive growth, strengthen our capabilities and bring more innovation to customers across the region,” he said.
He added that Singapore would play an increasingly important role in Revolut’s growth across Asia as the company works towards reaching 100mn customers globally.
EDB points to opportunities for local talent
Pee Beng Kong, Executive Vice President, EDB, said Revolut’s investment reflected Singapore’s role in the company’s regional growth, adding that the expansion of its team and product capabilities in Singapore would strengthen the fintech ecosystem and create opportunities for local talent to develop skills and experience in the sector.
EDB looks forward to partnering with Revolut as it develops products from Singapore to serve customers across Southeast Asia and beyond, he added.
Nik Mehta, British High Commissioner, Singapore, also pointed to confidence in Singapore’s future and highlighted the financial services relationship between the UK and Singapore.
He added: “I'm delighted to see a UK-headquartered company playing such an important part in that relationship, creating jobs, driving innovation and strengthening the links between our two financial centres.”
