To commemorate 60 years of nation-building, Singaporeans aged 60 and above will get S$800, while younger adults will receive S$600.
All adult Singaporeans will receive SG60 Vouchers starting from 1 July 2025. This initiative, introduced under the SG60 Package in Budget 2025, aims to honour the contributions of Singaporeans and share the benefits of national progress.
Singaporeans aged 60 and above in 2025 (born in 1965 or earlier) will receive S$800 in vouchers. Those aged between 21 and 59 in 2025 (born between 1966 and 2004) will receive S$600.
The vouchers are valid until 31 December 2026, and the distribution will take place in two phases:
- From 1 July 2025, seniors aged 60 and above can begin claiming their vouchers at 10am.
- Adults aged 21 to 59 will be able to claim theirs from 22 July 2025 at 10am.
The staggered rollout is intended to give seniors earlier access and ensure they get the help they need during the claiming process.
The SG60 Vouchers can be used at all businesses that accept CDC Vouchers. Half of the value will go towards purchases at participating heartland merchants and hawkers, while the other half can be spent at participating supermarkets across the island.
The SG60 Vouchers is a whole-of-government initiative led by Low Yen Ling, Senior Minister of State for Trade and Industry & Culture, Community and Youth, Chairman of the Mayors' Committee, and the mayors of the different districts, together with the CDC Vouchers Implementation Committee.
Designed for inclusivity
In line with the inclusive spirit of SG60, each Singaporean will receive a specially designed postcard by mail. There are six postcard designs in total, created by artists with different abilities. Seniors will receive their postcards from 1 July, while the rest will receive theirs from 22 July.
Claiming the vouchers will follow the same process as previous CDC Vouchers. Once a person claims their vouchers, they will receive an SMS with a secure link from the sender ID "gov.sg". The vouchers are digital and can be accessed easily via mobile devices.
Help available for those who need it
Support will be provided to those unfamiliar with the digital claiming process. Community Centres (CCs) and SG Digital Community Hubs will have volunteers on hand to guide residents. In the first two weeks of July, about 200 volunteers from public agencies and schools such as ITE College West, Nanyang Polytechnic and Tampines Meridian Junior College will assist residents alongside CDC ambassadors.
Throughout July, SDO Digital Ambassadors will be stationed at all CCs, while Silver Infocomm Wellness Ambassadors will support seniors in the first week. There will also be daily SG60 Vouchers Learning Journeys at selected CCs to help residents understand how to use their vouchers effectively.
Beyond July, Singaporeans can continue to receive support at more than 30 SG Digital Community Hubs and over 200 roving counters located islandwide.
Supporting neighbourhood businesses
The vouchers are also designed to support local merchants and strengthen community bonds. By encouraging residents to spend within their neighbourhoods, the initiative helps sustain small businesses and heartland hawkers.
Businesses participating in the scheme are marked by CDC Voucher decals, with teal for heartland merchants and hawkers, and yellow for supermarkets. Residents can find eligible merchants nearby by visiting go.gov.sg/sg60voucher.
Validity and security reminders
SG60 Vouchers are reserved for all eligible Singaporeans and will remain valid until 31 December 2026, allowing ample time for use based on individual needs while supporting local businesses.
Residents are also reminded to stay alert to scams. No banking details or payments are required to claim the vouchers, and all official messages will come from "gov.sg".
