On the other hand, another major local carrier Cathay Pacific has yet to implement any surcharge adjustments. However, at the company's results press conference on 11 March 2026, CEO Ronald Lam stated that details of the upcoming changes will be announced soon. For now, Cathay Pacific's fuel surcharges remain between HK$142 to HK$569.
Meanwhile, Cathay Pacific continues to suspend daily passenger and freighter flights to Dubai and Riyadh up to and including 31 March 2026. To meet growing travel demand to Europe, Cathay Pacific will operate additional passenger flights to London and expand capacity on services to Zurich.
