Including exemption from work and compensatory rest days, public employees can enjoy up to 5.5-day long weekend for Lunar New Year next year.
The Macao SAR Government has released the official list of public holidays, as well as exemption from work and compensatory rest days for public employees in 2027.
A total of nine long weekends are expected next year. Notably, the exemption from work and compensatory rest days will allow public employees to enjoy an extended 5.5-day break during the Lunar New Year holiday.
