SOCSO revised contribution rates for June-July 2026 not yet reflected in e-Payroll, as system undergoes enhancements

Employers have been advised to verify the applicable SOCSO contribution rates and make payments directly through SOCSO’s official portal where necessary.

Take note: the Social Security Organisation's (SOCSO or known as PERKESO) e-Payroll system is being enhanced to support the recently updated contribution calculations and payment processing.

While this takes place, the revised PERKESO contribution rates for June to July 2026 will not be reflected in e‑Payroll payroll calculations and contribution files.

As such, PERKESO has advised employers to verify the applicable contribution rates and, where necessary, make payments directly to SOCSO via the official payment portal. 

Further updates will be provided once the e-Payroll system enhancement is available.

In similar news, PERKESO has also announced that the implementation of ASSIST 2.0, which was scheduled for 30 June 2026, has been postponed to a later date to be announced. The agency said the postponement is to allow final checks and system improvements to ensure a more stable, secure, and smooth service for employers and users.

During this period, employers may continue using the existing ASSIST portal for registration, contributions, and payments until the new portal becomes operational.
