Get ready for a nine-day Chinese New Year holiday in 2026.

The State Council of the People's Republic of China has released the official public holidays calendar for 2026.

Employees can expect an extended nine-day break during the Spring Festival (Chinese New Year).

Other long holidays include Labour Day, which offers five consecutive days off, and National Day, which brings a seven-day ‘Golden Week’.
