CPF Board launches ‘PLAN with CPF’ to guide Singaporeans through major financial decisions

The new one-stop platform aims to help members plan for housing, insurance, and retirement with ease.

To commemorate its 70th anniversary, the Central Provident Fund (CPF) Board has launched ‘PLAN (Plan Life Ahead, Now!) with CPF’ which is a centralised platform designed to guide Singaporeans through major financial decisions at every stage of life.

The announcement was made at a community outreach event held on 5 July 2025 (Saturday) at Our Tampines Hub, attended by Senior Minister Lee Hsien Loong. A commemorative book capturing CPF’s journey since 1955 was also unveiled.

PLAN with CPF: Supporting members through life’s moments

CPF Board designed ‘PLAN with CPF’ as part of its commitment to aiding members in marking their life milestones — from starting work and saving for a home, to preparing for retirement and managing healthcare costs.

The new platform brings together a range of planning tools and educational resources into one personalised dashboard, accessible via Singpass. It aims to help CPF members make informed choices about their CPF savings and financial goals.

Members can use the dashboard to:

  • Access planning tools, including:
    • Retirement payout planner to set and project retirement income.
    • Home purchase planner to explore housing budgets, loans, and long-term impact.
    • Health insurance planner to compare coverage and premium affordability.
  • Learn from curated resources to deepen understanding of various financial planning areas at different stages of life.
  • Take a financial fitness quiz co-developed with MoneySense, helping members assess their overall financial health beyond CPF

A goal to make financial planning easier for all

Melissa Khoo, Chief Executive Officer of CPF Board, shared: “We are taking another step towards empowering Singaporeans to take charge of their financial health with ‘PLAN with CPF’, which aims to make financial planning more accessible and actionable for everyone.”

She noted that while the Board has long offered financial planning tools and information through various channels, ‘PLAN with CPF’ brings these resources together in one place to make them more accessible. She said this would help members better understand and optimise their CPF savings as part of their wider financial planning journey.
