  • Temporary traffic diversions may be implemented near the Kai Tak Sports Park.
  • MTR service frequency on the Tuen Ma Line will be increased after matches.
  • 10 special bus routes will operate after the final match each day to major districts across Hong Kong.

The Hong Kong Sevens 2026 will be held at the Kai Tak Sports Park (KTSP) from 17 to 19 April 2026. To facilitate the holding of the event, the Transport Department (TD) has announced special traffic and transport arrangements in the vicinity of Kowloon City for the event period.

Such arrangements include:

  • The Police may implement temporary traffic diversions in the vicinity of KTSP depending on actual traffic flow and crowd conditions.
  • To assist with crowd dispersal after the end of the last match on each event day, the service frequency of the MTR Tuen Ma Line will be enhanced.
  • Franchised bus companies will operate a total of 10 special bus routes after the final match on each event day from the Sung Wong Toi Road Pick-up/Drop-off Area (PUDOA). These routes will connect spectators to major districts across the territory, including Tsim Sha Tsui, Mong Kok, Causeway Bay, Wan Chai, Kwun Tong, Tseung Kwan O, Tai Po, Sheung Shui, among others.
  • The Kai Tak Stadium Taxi PUDOA will be open for taxi pick-up and drop-off.
  • The 35 metered parking spaces along Sung Wong Toi Road (nos. 8713A to 8731B) will be temporarily suspended daily from 8 am to 11:59 pm between 17 and 19 April 2026.

Members of the public are advised to exercise tolerance and patience, as traffic in the vicinity of the KTSP is expected to be heavy during the event period. Spectators are encouraged to use public transport and avoid driving or taking private cars.

For journey planning, members of the public may use the “HKeMobility” mobile application to access point‑to‑point public transport, driving and walking route information. On event days, spectators are also advised to pay attention to real‑time updates via on‑site broadcasts, the “Easy Leave” platform, the TD’s website, the “HKeMobility” mobile application, as well as radio and television traffic reports.
