Leach brings to the role extensive experience leading large-scale technology and digital change in highly regulated, global organisations.
Vistra, a global business services provider, has welcomed Damian Leach (pictured above) to the team as Chief AI & Digital Officer, effective April 2026.
In its announcement on 8 April (Wednesday), Vistra said this will be a new leadership role focused on accelerating the group’s capabilities, to strengthen its clients’ experience, connectivity and operational consistency.
Leach joins the organisation as what it calls "a pivotal moment for the global corporate services industry as clients face increasing regulatory complexity", and as AI rapidly reshapes services and experiences. He will be based out of the global headquarters in Singapore.
According to Kim Jenkins, CEO, Vistra, the appointment marks the next major step in the organisation's strategy, noting that Vistra has over the past year advanced the foundations of its global digital platform to "better connect clients with their portfolios of legal entities, accounting, tax and people services."
Leach brings to the role extensive experience leading large-scale technology and digital change in highly regulated, global organisations. His career, spanning more than 20 years, includes 13 years in global banking technology roles, leading global teams. He has also previously worked as the CTO of a global fortune 500 SaaS provider.
Most recently, he served as Global CIO at Seaco, which later merged with Textainer to become what is cited as the world’s largest and most diversified container leasing company. At Seaco, Leach led the modernisation and scaling of enterprise technology capabilities winning industry innovation awards.
Commenting on his priority in this new role, Leach said: "My focus will be to build high performance strategic services, harmonise our global operations and build global platforms that elevate the customer journey to unlock business value for our clients and investors across the group."
