Up the ranks: Meet Diane Poo, Cushman & Wakefield's new Director for People Partnering in Singapore and Malaysia

She will oversee HR teams in both markets, driving key people strategies and ensuring alignment between local business priorities and the organisation’s regional and global initiatives.

Global commercial real estate services provider Cushman & Wakefield has announced the appointment of Diane Poo (pictured above) as Director for People Partnering in Singapore and Malaysia, effective 23 January 2025 (Thursday). Reporting directly to Anne-Sophie Curet, Senior Vice President EMEA & APAC People Partnering, she will provide strategic HR support to the Singapore leadership team and other regional leaders based in Singapore.

In her role, Diane will oversee HR teams in both Singapore and Malaysia, driving key people strategies and ensuring alignment between local business priorities and the organisation’s regional and global initiatives. She will also support both the Singapore leadership team, as well as other regional leaders based in Singapore.

"Diane’s extensive experience and proven leadership in HR strategy make her a valuable addition to our team," said Curet. "Her ability to align people-centric initiatives with business goals will be instrumental in advancing our strategic objectives and fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence across Singapore and Malaysia."

Diane brings over two decades of diverse experience spanning industries such as building, energy, retail, IT, and hospitality. Most recently, she led the Southeast Asia HR Business Partnering team at Johnson Controls, where she spearheaded initiatives in talent management, employee engagement, and organisational effectiveness across the region.

Sharing her enthusiasm for her new role, she said she is excited to join Cushman & Wakefield in this "pivotal leadership role".

"I look forward to working alongside the leadership team to uphold our DRIVE values – Driven, Resilient, Inclusive, Visionary, and Entrepreneurial – and to contribute to our shared objectives as we strengthen our business together."
