About eight in 10 secure jobs within six months, with results largely unchanged year-on-year.

The median gross monthly salary for fresh graduates from Singapore’s private education institutions (PEIs) has held steady at S$3,500, even as employment outcomes remained broadly unchanged, according to the latest Graduate Employment Survey by SkillsFuture Singapore.

The survey, conducted from October 2025 to January 2026, covered graduates from full-time Bachelor’s level external degree programmes (EDPs) across 26 PEIs. Of around 6,150 graduates from the 2024/2025 cohort, 61.6% responded.

Among those who were economically active – either working or actively seeking employment, 78.9% secured jobs within six months of graduation. This is comparable to the 78.6% recorded in the previous cohort, SSG noted.

Across course clusters, employment rates remained largely consistent year-on-year.

In comparison, graduates from public institutions saw different outcomes in the same period. In 2025, 88.9% of autonomous university graduates and 93.1% of post-national service polytechnic graduates secured employment.

Median salaries were also higher, at S$4,500 for autonomous university graduates and S$3,137 for post-NS polytechnic graduates.
