High-octane successes: Meet the winners of HR Excellence Awards 2026 - Indonesia

Amidst three new categories and 40 titles in total, it was CIMB Niaga's night as the team walked the stage with the Grand Winner's honour.

CIMB Niaga emerged as the Overall HREA Winner at the HR Excellence Awards 2026 - Indonesia, taking home seven gold and eight silver trophies in recognition of its outstanding HR achievements.

Held at The Westin Jakarta on 6 November 2026, the eighth edition of the awards brought together industry leaders to celebrate organisations raising the bar for HR excellence. Across 40 categories, this year’s winners demonstrated how innovative people strategies can strengthen business performance, develop workforce capabilities, and create better workplaces.

Reflecting the changing priorities of HR, this year’s awards introduced three new categories:

• Excellence in the Use of Generative AI for HR,
• Excellence in AI-Enabled Workforce Transformation, and
• Excellence in Performance Management Evolution.

The two AI-focused categories recognise organisations leveraging generative AI to improve HR processes and employee support, while preparing their workforces for technology-driven change.

Meanwhile, the new performance management category celebrates organisations moving beyond traditional appraisals towards continuous feedback, clearer goal alignment and more meaningful employee development.

Together, these additions recognise HR teams that are embracing innovation while keeping people at the centre of organisational growth.
